Morning Mantra And Prayer With Your Kids

Good morning, fellow parents!

As a mom, I know how important it is to start the day off on the right foot. That’s why I’ve developed a morning mantra that helps set a positive tone for the day ahead. And, I want to share it with you!

I believe that positive words have the power to transform our lives, and that’s why I’ve created a set of affirmation cards to help parents speak life over their children. But, I also believe in the power of prayer, and I’m intentional about teaching my boys to harness its power too.

Every morning, I say a prayer over my sons. My oldest, Ellis, who is 3, now knows it by heart. It’s a beautiful tradition that not only creates a special bond between us but also helps to instill important principles that they can carry with them throughout their lives.

Here’s our morning prayer (fill in your child’s name in the blank)

Father God in the name of Jesus we thank you for today.
We thank you for the wiggles in our hands and the wiggles in our feet.
We ask God that you will keep _______ safe.
We thank you that no weapon formed against them shall prosper
And every tongue that rises in judgment shall be condemned.
We thank you that  _______ is a leader and not a follower
We thank you that he/she is above only and never beneath.
We thank you that ______ is not deaf, dumb, or mute, for he/she has the mind of Christ.

We thank you that he/she has favor with you and his teachers.
We bless you, we honor you and we give you praise.
In Jesus’ name, amen!
